We're a Chicago trade show news blog featuring exhibitor news for people that go to conventions and events in the Chicagoland area.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
We wanted to help our exhibitors in Chicago to get the latest trade show news at their fingertips. What is the latest trade show exhibit designs, news on the expansion of the McCormick Place convention center. Up and coming expos in the Chicago area.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
Our main site is www.ttskyline.com, we launched that in 1999 We just started with our blog and hope to add to it weekly.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
We looked for a name that was what we were all about and we came up with Chicago Trade Show Exhibits .com
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
We try to feature the news our customers are looking for when it comes to trade show exhibit displays and marketing venues. Marketing managers need results and need to have the best values pointed out.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
We have a number of editors checking resources at TSNN.com and TradeShowWeek.com and feeding us the latest news on Chicago conventions. The latest rental deals and challenges with decorators like Freeman, Champion and GES
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Sure, we would just add a few more editors to walk the show halls digging up trade show news.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Chicago has the largest collection of Exhibit Display Designers in the world. There is a bit of competition for our favorite keywords such as Chicago trade show exhibits, Chicago trade show displays and Chicago exhibit displays. we always seem to come out on top with Classified 1000's help.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
We get the most customers from client referrals or people that see our press releases in the news.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
Our hope is to grow as fast as our trade show display company.
