What inspired you to launch your own website?
"Necessity is the mother of invention"-very aptly said.Website provides the world wide potential users a chance to know what are the treands in the market and what they can expect from an event manager if they want to get there events planned.More to say the education initiative taken by the firm could also reach the masses only by elearning courses and free training programs. The events we plan also get an option for free promotion on the electronic media, which also inspired us to go for this website
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
The first website was launched in the year 2007 and was about the basic company profile, our approach and the services we offered. As the demand grew, the web site also started growing.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
"OccasionzPRO" is made of 3 sub words or parts... Firstly, Occasion - Life and all the events are big enough to be celebrated, provided we look at them with that perspective.This word is dedicated to the people who believe in this phylosophy and to promote the once who do not. Secondly, "z" Occasion is a compelete word in it self but without a tinch of attitude.The "z" at the end of occasion provides the funckyness and treandyness required in the world of glamour and events. Lastly, "PRO" in Caps, Says is out loud that events we plan are for your fun and entertainment, but we take them very professionally from the day 0 till the end of event and till the post production needs are over
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Provide our users the best we can and the best they can expect from an event management company, all of this with an addition of a lot more features like forum and online jobs, ticket booking, ads event planning softwares and the firms education initiative.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Our success is in the success of our clients.Every event we do might look like a success, but we make sure it fully serves the purpose our clients want it to.That is success for us.Time and money come after that in our priority list.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Well addition of features, to make it a all in one website would be the ultimate aim.A websit on which a users comes and never wants to logoff.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes, we are ready for it already as our client base is already increasing at an explosive rates.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
well, starting from the very scratch is tough. But it is also fun if you love the work you do. Talking very personally, I m an Electronics and Communication Engineer, knew almost nothing when i started the business. It was the love for the work and promoting the youngsters to this rapidly growing field which helped us overcome all the unexpected costs and headaches.
What has been your biggest challenge?
"Initial Capital" was our biggers challenge.Being students(When the firm first started) we didnot have lots of funds to start of with. But as said before, where there is a will, there is a way.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Advertising the website an all the public events and other electronic media have been very successful methods for promoting the website.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
we did not expect as great response traffic for our firm from the website. Its great! we intend to expand is many folds, include lot of new features and make it a one stop shop.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
The website is running now for a few months and we intend to run it forever. People are liking the services we offer and the demand is increasing day by day.
