What inspired you to launch your own website?

I wanted to get my company's name out there within the Wedding Industry. I thought it would help with my networking and obtaining clients.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

I launched it in March 2007. It was the same one I have now. www.exquisiteaffare.com

How did you decide on a name for your website?

My company's name is Exquisite Affare and the .com domain was available.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

It's simple and to the point. I also provide promotions on my home page.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

I would like to obtain more clientele. Hopefully referrals and returning customers, to grow my income and company.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I invest a lot of time trying to advertise and get my company's name out there as Wedding & Event Planner.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I think I would grow tremendously and would gain a lot more clientele.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes I would. I would actually do Wedding & Event Planning Full-Time, rather than Part-Time.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

I haven't dealt with much. I'm very good at negotiating and sourcing free directories.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Finding Clients who want to hire.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Posting on Directories and Classifieds.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

I check my stats constantly. Where are the hits coming from.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I will continue to have it run as far as I can.

What do you like the most about being a Wedding and Event Planner?

I love the stress free look a couple has during the planning process and the day of the wedding. The stress free look of the clients, ensures me that I've done my job as a wedding planner and that they are happy from a job well done.

What is your website address?

Exquisite Affare
