This is a corporate site that was created to allow my client further understand our business.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
For business purposes.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
1996. My personal site.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
The name of the website follows my company registered name.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
This site is setup to serve my corporate aims and as such it is here to stay.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
The website is still in its infancy and I have yet to taste my fruits of labour.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Well, the first is to engaged the professional to create and manage my site.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
If one day the site get put of hand, I will consider outsourcing the management to a third party.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Well, as a novice, I do have to spend more time than others to overcome the issues at hand.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Lack of technical knowledge.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
I am still in the process of exploring the best method to promote my site.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Running the website for a start need careful planning and quality content. At times there is a struggle to what is appropriate content to be release without compromising the company position.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
The corporate site has been in existence since 2006. I will continue to improve the site year and year to serve my clients and potential clients.
